Held at the Harbiye Auditorium, the keynote session “AI vs Inequality” explored how AI can be leveraged to accelerate progress in areas such as quality education, climate action, and the reduction of inequality. At the same time, the session raised crucial concerns regarding the digital divide and algorithmic bias, emphasizing the need for universities to embed AI ethics, inclusivity, and global cooperation in their curriculum, research, and institutional governance.
